Jasper Fforde literally put Swindon on the map, when he based his series of Thursday Next novels in a parallel version of the town.
The acclaimed author held a question and answer session in Swindon’s state- of-the-art Central library, where the eager crowd heard what inspired him to make Swindon the centre of the universe.
